Caroline has a Master of Philosophy in Community Theatre and a First Class Honours Degree in Dramatic Arts.
She has taught undergraduates as guest lecturer and director at the University of Leeds.

Caroline was the founding director of a gap year for young actors who could not access drama schools. Each cohort would work as a small scale touring theatre company creating original productions for touring and each year would work with more than 20,000 people.

Caroline was the founding director of an adult community theatre company.

Commissioned by Scottish Arts Council to set up and run a youth theatre company in areas of extreme social deprivation.
